Long-Awaited NEW-BUILD Apartments to break ground in Stockton!

Turning the ceremonial soil at 4770 West Lane on July 9, 2019 at 11a.m. you’ll find generations of Builders: a pair of PATMONS leading STONEBRIER COMMERCIAL, Charles “Pat” Patmon and youngest son Jeff Patmon who together combined 65 years of experience. They are joined by 2 HUBERS, Kevin and Fritz of GRUPE COMMERCIAL COMPANY who together have combined 35 years of experience. Time and tenacity is what it took to get land purchased, buildings designed, plans approved and a City of Stockton Permit issued. Expertise and experience gets the actual work done: DesCor Builders of Rancho Cordova is the selected construction company for Stonebrier Apartments. Local architect, Mark Lee of Lee-Jagoe Architecture, Inc. is joined by local Landscape Architect, Jeffrey Gamboni.

“Our tractors will roll in The City of Stockton again” is the promise of the Patmons to build 156 new apartments after an 8 year City slowdown due to The Great Recession. A beautiful wrought-iron and stone fence has protected the well-kept site for these apartments for years. Now the apartments will join its earlier neighbors, Rite-Aid, The Kitchen @ Stonebrier, and even their new corporate offices of Patmon Company, Inc., in business since 1965. Patmons keep their buildings and take a long-term interest in the quality of construction and enduring design. White financial whirlwinds upset new building plans in Stockton, Patmons used the time to improve buildings they already owned and added to their community portfolio of 1,867 units.
